At the table no one grows old |

I have had a love affair with food for most of my life. I am a firm believer in “the garden to the table” philosophy. Growing up in New England, I was taught by my Grandfather to make the most of the growing season. April provides those early spring vegetables: sweet tender peas, delicate lettuces and lemony asparagus, whose brightness awakens the senses after a long winter’s nap. Then through the summer months, when nothing can be better than the taste of a sun ripened juicy tomato, or sweet corn that has just been plucked from the stalk. The crisp autumn air ripens the wonderful bounties that the cooler months offer, varieties of hardy squash, creamy potatoes, and tart apples. My grandmothers and mum harvested their gardens with care and precision. They prepared flavorful dishes that gathered the family together. It is under this tutelage that I developed a passion for preparing distinctive and flavorful foods. Over the years I have developed a style and flair unique to my cuisine. I love to share my craft, where family and friends can gather to celebrate, laugh and live. It’s Beauty and Aroma, It's Touch and Taste. It is a celebration of exquisite simplicity.
